H.E. Ambassador Josefa Leonel Correia Sacko, an Angolan national, is a leading African Agronomist. She is the Commissioner for Rural Economy and Agriculture of the African Union Commission. Prior to her election, she was Special Adviser to two Ministers in Angola: the Angolan Minister of Environment where she also served as Ambassador responsible for Climate Change. As advisor to the Minister of Agriculture, Amb. Sacko oversaw Food Security, Eradication of Hunger and Poverty Reduction.

Hon. Frank Kagyigyi Tumwebaze is the Minister of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries for the Republic of Uganda. He is an educator and politician. He previously served as Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development, in the Ugandan Cabinet. Before that, he was the Minister of Information Technology and Communications.

Gen. Odongo Jeje Abubakher is currently the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uganda and represents Orungo Constituency in the National Parliament. Prior to this appointment, he was Minister of Internal Affairs. He has held other cabinet portfolios including as Minister of State for Defence and Minister of State for Environment. In his previous capacity, he served as Army Commander and held several positions while in military service, including representing the Army in Parliament.

H.E. Dr. Mohamed Salem Merzoug is currently serving as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. Prior to this he was Diplomatic advisor to the President of the Republic and also held the role of World President of the International Network of Basin Organizations (INBO) and holds a Doctorate in Geophysics.

H.E Moussa Faki Mahamat is a Chadian politician and diplomat who has been the elected Chairperson of the African Union Commission since 2017. Previously he was Prime Minister of Chad and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa[a] (born 15 September 1944) is a Ugandan politician and military officer who is the ninth and current president of Uganda since 1986. As of 2024, he is the third-longest consecutively serving current non-royal national leader in the world (after Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo in Equatorial Guinea and Paul Biya in Cameroon).

H.E. Mohamed Ould Ghazouani is the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, elected in June 2019. Before his presidency, he served as Minister of National Defense and held various high-ranking military and political roles, including Chief of the General Staff of the Armies, Director General of National Security, and Member of the Military Council for Justice and Democracy. He has been recognized throughout his career with numerous national and international honors, including the French Legion of Honor and the King Abdel Aziz Medal.
